MESSAGE FROM PLANET X, is an installation in the form of an island. On the island, which is fabricated from hand painted paper, is an assemblage of over 40 sculptures, which I call “life forms”. My intent is to create a fecund and complex environment, an ecosystem of many layers reminiscent of a coral reef, or perhaps another planet. The visual representation of coexistence can be seen both literally and symbolically, from a microscopic to a geopolitical level.
