My approach to monoprinting is one of mixed
media. In my work in this genre I have developed my own way of combining
painterly surfaces with, “faux lithography” Xerox transfer,
collographs, polyester plates and embossed acetates. This has enabled
me to include drawings and photos into abstract fields of color and
texture, many times in a single pass through the press, while giving
the impression of a multi-layered collage
