This
piece was inspired by a news cast where it was simultaneously reported
that a small plane had flown into the White House and that a White
Buffalo had been born in North Dakota, perhaps fulfilling a Native
American prophecy that the birth would usher in a new era of consciousness
towards the earth. At the time, I was doing a lot of work involving
discarded household appliances, which along with wood carving, painting
and hand formed metalwork became the assemblage altar.
